Banana punch
Ingredients/Components
- water, divided
- sugar - 4 c
- can frozen orange juice concentrate - 1 oz
- can pineapple juice - 1 oz
- bananas - 5 item
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- liter bottles ginger ale - 3 item
How to make banana punch:
Bring 6 cups water and sugar to a boil in sauce pan. Boil 5 minutes. Cool completely. Add frozen orange juice, 4 1/2 cups water and pineapple juice to sugar mixture. Puree bananas in blender. Add lemon juice. Add to juice mixture. Pour into 3 large zip lock bags (easier if plastic bag is put in loaf pan before pouring). Freeze at least 12 hours to up to 3 weeks. Thaw 4-6 hours before serving. Add 1 liter ginger ale to each bag of punch. Pour into punch bowl to serve. Serves 20.Note: Must prepare ahead. Perfect for showers. They'll definitely go back for seconds!
