Broccoli orange salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- raisins
- can mandarin oranges, drained - 1 oz
- white vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- low-fat mayonnaise
- pecan pieces
- medium purple onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- fresh broccoli florets about 1 1/2 lb
How to make broccoli orange salad:
Combine first four ingredients in a bowl; set aside. Combine low-fat mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar, add to broccoli mixture. Stir gently to coat. Carefully stir in mandarin oranges. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight before serving. (It can be served immediately, but it's better after some refrigeration.)Yield: 6 servings.
